1. How can I check my refund status?

You can check your refund by clicking the link below and entering your social, Filing status and the total refund due.

2. Until what age limit can I claim my child as a dependent?

 You can claim your dependent, who lives with you until the age of 24 as long as they are full time students, in which you must provide proof at the time of tax preparation

By creating an online account with the IRS and by following the prompts, or you can contact our offices direct and we can help you.

6. How can I fix a mistake done on my tax return?

All errors on a tax return are fixed by filling out an amended return under form 1040x, you can call our office and make an appointment for the preparation.

7. How do I file estimated taxes to the IRS?

You can calculate the average annual payment due to the IRS and fill out form 1040ES found on the IRS web page, or on our resource page. You can also contact us for further assistance.

8. What is the last day to file my personal taxes with the IRS?

The last day for Personal Tax filing is April 15 unless it lands on a Sat or Sun then it will be the following business day

9. What is the last day to file my Corporate Taxes with the IRS?

The last day for Personal Tax filing is March 15 unless it lands on a Sat or Sun then it will be the following business day. Please NOTE: If you have an S-Corporation you must file your Corporate tax 1stand the K1 business Income or Loss must be reported on your personal tax return.

10. What is the last day for my Personal Tax Extension?

The last day for Personal Tax filing EXTENSION is October 15 unless it lands on a Sat or Sun then it will be the following business day

12. When are my sales tax due?

Returns and payments are due on the 1st and late after the 20th day of the month following each reporting period. If the 20th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or state or federal holiday, returns are timely if filed electronically, postmarked or hand-delivered on the first business day following the 20th.

13. When are my 941 quarter reports due?

By April 30, July 31, October 31, and January 31 (for the fourth quarter of the previous calendar year) File Form 941, Employer's QUARTERLY Federal Tax Return. If you timely deposited all taxes when due, you have 10 additional calendar days to file the return.

14. When are the W2 forms for my employees due?

All employers are encouraged to file Forms W-2 electronically. The due date is January 31.

15. When are the 1099 forms for my employees due?

16. How do I create an Account with the IRS?

By logging in to the irs.gov/account, you can click SIGN UP link and create an account, This account will allow you to review tax transcripts and accounts for the last 3 years, including making a payment arrangement.

17. How can I request my tax transcripts?

You can request your transcripts by logging in to your IRS account or by filling out form 4506T and mailing it in. This form is on the IRS web page or on our resource page.

18. How long will it take my tax refund to get here?

The average tax refund considering everything is ok, and the IRS is not missing any additional forms including the 1095A from Obama Care, it can take an average of 21 days.

19. What do I do if I forgot to include my 1095A from the Health Market Place?

If this form was not included on your return, Please contact us or your tax preparer to include the missing form, this will generate the additional pages 8962 page 1 and 2, and must be mailed to the IRS with the Its letter received. 

20. Can I still claim my child if he or she worked and filled their own taxes?

As long as your child was a student and lived with you for the entire year, YES. You are allowed to claim the EIC “Earned Income Credit” for them, even tho they do not depend on you as there are 2 different credits.
